Frequently asked questions
We both want your brand to be huge. So make sure it looks good when it’s huge. Some logos and designs may look fine on your phone or computer screen, but those screens are tiny compared to a 10 ft canopy tent, a 6 ft air dancer, or bigger!
We require all submitted files to have a resolution of at least 300 DPI (dots per inch).
Size matters. Do make sure that DPI and the print size in your submitted file are both accurate. If your file says 300 DPI, but the size you’re viewing at is 12 inches, that will be only 30 DPI at actual size on a 10x10 tent. This should be 300 DPI when printed at 100%actual size.
Vector Images
We prefer Adobe PDF (.pdf), Adobe Illustrator (.ai), EPS, or SVG
Convert all fonts and stroke-weights to outline. All raster objects in artwork should be 300 DPI at the intended print size.
Raster Images
We prefer Adobe Photoshop (.psd or .psb), TIFF, JPEG, or PNG
Rasterize your fonts and flatten your image before saving (to merge layers and effects). Image resolution should be at the 300 DPI at the intended print size.
If you received a Low Resolution Warning, it means some or all of the artwork you sent us is significantly less than 300 DPI. Artwork less than 300 DPI may appear pixelated or blurry. So if our design is using your artwork, it the final result may also end up pixelated or blurry.
The best solution is to resend us your artwork as a high resolution file.
You may, of course, still decide to approve a design with a Low Resolution Warning if you are fine with the appearance.
